I’m going to give you a brief overview of my 22-years in the automotive industry. You may know me as the guy who earned over $716,000 in one year selling cars, and over $2,500,000 in one year as a General Manager.
Starting in auto sales as an 18 year old with zero sales experience, I had a lot to learn. I quickly realized the importance of acquiring knowledge, investing in myself and training hard.
Before long, I was crushing sale’s goals and earning an insane income for a 19- 21 year old. After about 3 to 4 years in sales, I was talked into taking a position in management.
I was earning a great income, and busy all the time with management tasks, yet somewhere along the way, I lost my competitive edge. I lost my drive to improve myself daily, have massive goals and crush my goals.
What I did have was a huge WHY! I had my wife, young son and another baby on the way. I shared with my wife my desire to completely reinvent myself, get back into sales, acquire all the knowledge I could, train like a beast and tackle massive goals.
At 30 years old, I got back into auto sales. I trained 2 hours every morning and came out the gate selling 30 cars in one month. I averaged 50-60 cars per month during my second phase selling cars.
During my career in the auto industry, I’ve been on every side of the spectrum. I’ve learned to keep the fire burning, acquire knowledge, train like a beast, constantly reinvent myself and crush my goals.
